Further development of the Flying V

On June 2, 2019, it was announced that the Flying V aircraft configuration of Justus Benad, an employee of the "Departement of System Dynamics and Friction Physics", will be further developed at TU Delft in a cooperation with KLM. This caused a lot of international media interest.

Reports included CNN, The West Australien, and NTV. Justus Benad talked about the aircraft configuration and its further development with Deutschlandfunk Nova, ZDF, NBC News and TU intern.

The first public presentation of the Flying V was on February 4, 2015, at the Seminar of Mechanics at the TU Berlin. Later, the concept was presented at the German Aerospace Congress 2015 in Rostock. Further information on the Flying V aircraft configuration can be found in the corresponding paper by Justus Benad.

We wish great success to the team at TU Delft further developing the Flying V!
